About This Site

This is an reference about FileZilla, written for people using Windows. It is not run by the FileZilla Project, is with it, and has no permission to speak for it. If you are looking for the project's own website, it is filezilla-project.org.

Why it exists

Official documentation answers "what does this setting do". Most people arrive with a different question: "my upload keeps failing and I have twenty minutes". These pages fill that gap with practical, Windows-first walkthroughs.

How the guides are written

  • Steps are described as they appear in the program on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  • Version numbers, licensing and platform support come from the project's own publications; we do not invent specifications.
  • Ratings, review counts and download statistics are never fabricated.
  • Corrections are welcome through the contact page.

Downloads

Download buttons on this guide point to a ZIP hosted at download3.frapdownload.org, a third-party location that is not the FileZilla Project website. Reference links may still point to the FileZilla Project. This site is not an official download location.

Trademarks

"FileZilla" and its logo belong to their owner. They are used here only to identify the software being described. See the trademark notes and the licensing summary.
